MSYAP Master Classes provide a rare opportunity to witness the interaction between these gifted students and great artist-teachers as they examine and explore the art of performance on the highest level. MSYAP is limited in size so that students are able to have a more in-depth experience.
Master Classes in 2008-9 were given by: Paul Kantor from the Cleveland Institute of Music; Cornelia Heard from the Blair School of Music; Peter Marsh, Director of Instrumental Chamber Music at USC, Mathius Freund Associate Concertmaster from the Munich Symphony Orchestra and William Ransom from Emory University. Master Classes for the 2008-2009 Academic Year will be given by: Professor Stephen Clapp fom the Juilliard School; Professor Cho Liang Lin from the Shepherd School of Music; Professor Cornelia Heard from the Blair School of Music; Professor Danuta Glowacka from the "Conservatoire de Nice".
